Editing
Although I enjoy writing, my love is copy editing. To me, nothing is more gratifying than assisting a struggling writer to clarify a particularly difficult sentence. As a detail-oriented person, I find immense pleasure in editing to a style guide and rules of modern grammar. To further my knowledge about editing, I enrolled in and completed a Professional Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington. I am confident editing to the Chicago Manual of Style and the Associated Press Stylebook as well as in-house style guides.
